Wednesday morning, the Rutgers staff received a commitment from three-star N.J. offensive lineman C.J. Hanson, who had long been high on the school for months.
The 6-5, 290-pounder hails from St. John Vianney (Holmdel, N.J.), where Rutgers landed four-star offensive tackle and N.J.'s top recruit Micah Clark and his brother Jamaal Beaty -- both former teammates -- from in 2017.
Hanson's Rutgers recruitment first began last summer when he attended the school's East Coast Elite camp where he received coaching from offensive line coach A.J. Blazek. And he first earned his Rutgers offer this March after competing at a camp in South Jersey in front of the Rutgers staff.
