Saturday, Nebraska landed a commitment from one of the fastest football players in N.J., when Bergen Catholic (Oradell, N.J.) four-star running back Rahmir Johnson picked the Cornhuskers over offers from Rutgers, Boston College, Ole Miss and 11 others.
A 510, 185-pounder, Johnson visited Nebraska once -- the weekend of March 31 -- and, apparently, it was enough to seal the deal.
"It felt like home, basically," Johnson, the rising senior, told NJ.com, Saturday. "I built a good connection with the coaches -- Coach Frost and Coach Hales, the running backs coach. And I really like the offense.
