Rutgers women’s soccer matched a program best with seven players receiving All-Big Ten honors on Wednesday.
Forward Amirah Ali and back Gabby Provenzano were First Team All-Big Ten selections, goalkeeper Meagan McClelland was a Second Team All-Big Ten selection and forward Nneka Moneme earned Third Team All-Big Ten honors.
In addition, three newcomers were named to the All-Freshman Team. They include forward Sam Kroeger, midfielder Becci Fluchel and back Emma Misal. Rutgers was the only team to have multiple selections. The trio has started in every game this season for Rutgers and have been a key part of this team’s success.
