Rutgers wrestling will not be in action this weekend after withdrawing from the quad meet scheduled for Saturday at Indiana because of COVID-19 concerns within the program.
The Scarlet Knights were prepared to face Indiana, No. 7 Nebraska, and No. 23 Michigan State in Bloomington. This is the second time Rutgers will be forced to miss a meet after postponing a Jan. 16 match against Penn State. This match was supposed to take place in Piscataway and the concerns came from the Nittany Lions.
This decision was made by the Rutgers University Athletic Department along with its sports medicine staff.
