1,200.
It’s a pretty innocuous number unless it’s applied to a pretty significant circumstance.
Rutgers wrestling announced it has sold 1,200 season tickets for its upcoming 2017-18 home campaign. Now, as part of the Scarlet Knights’ $100,000 season ticket challenge, for every season ticket sold beyond 1,200, an anonymous donor will donate $125 per season ticket sold until the goal of 2,000 season packages sold is reached.
Sam Cali was a Rutgers wrestler who passed away last summer. The anonymous donor’s generous gift will go towards the naming of a Rutgers wrestling assistant coach's office at the new RWJBarnabas Health Athletic Performance Center in memory of Sam.
