Rutgers Scarlet Knights star wide receiver Leonte Carroo is still dealing with an ankle injury suffered in last weekend’s stunning victory over Indiana and is officially questionable for Saturday’s game against No. 1 Ohio State. Dan Duggan of NJ.com reported the update.
Carroo was injured while making a touchdown catch in the game, in which Rutgers rallied back from a 52-27 deficit to come back and win 55-52, and was seen in a walking boot after it was over. That is never a good sign, as Carroo is vitally important to Rutgers’ success on offense.
Moreover, the game is in Piscataway, and Rutgers has a knack for performing better at home.
