The problems just continue to mount up for Rutgers wide receiver Leonte Carroo. It was announced yesterday that Carroo was suspended from the team indefinitely following his role in an altercation that occurred outside High Point Solutions Stadium following Rutgers’ loss to Washington State, and now it gets worse.
Per Ryan Dunleavy of the Asbury Park Press, Carroo was actually arrested and charged with simple assault under domestic violence following the incident, which does not bode well for Carroo’s future. In two games this season, Carroo has seven receptions for 181 yards and four touchdowns.
