After last week's 2-0 win over George Mason and a scoreless draw against Georgetown, Rutgers moved up in the polls and is now ranked #13th in the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll. They also moved up to #13 in the Top Drawer Soccer Poll, while they remained at #16 in the Soccer America Poll. In addition, Rutgers had two players pick up national and conference honors for their performances last week.
Goalkeeper Casey Murphy was named both the United Soccer Coaches National Player of the Week, as well as the Big Ten's Defensive Player of the Week.
