A day after the 16th ranked Rutgers women’s soccer team claimed the no. 2 seed in the upcoming Big Ten Tournament, which begins this Sunday, the program had six players earn all-conference honors for their regular season performances. Junior forward Amirah Ali was named to the First Team, senior defender Amanda Visco, junior forward Nneka Moneme and sophomore goalkeeper Meagan McClelland were named to the Second Team, while senior midfielder Taylor Aylmer and senior defender Chantelle Swaby were named to the Third Team. Aylmer was also the Sportsmanship Award honoree for Rutgers.
Ali made the All-Big Ten First Team for the second consecutive season, scoring 9 goals and registering 4 assists for 22 points.
