Rutgers women’s golf produced a program best 54-hole team score of 879 this past weekend in finishing in third place at the Nittany Lion Invitational at Penn State. The 16 team event took place on Saturday and Sunday, with Rutgers finishing 15-over par, behind only Washington and Penn State. The Scarlet Knights also bested in-state rival Seton Hall, who finished in fourth place by six strokes. Their team performance topped the previous Rutgers record from the 2016 Big Ten Tournament by seven strokes.
The Nittany Lion Invitational was played on the Penn State Blue course, which is a a par 72, 6,322-yard layout.
