Northwestern scored the final six points, and even though the Scarlet Knights still maintained a three-point advantage, it seemed like only a matter of time before their Big Ten foe would wrest control.
It took Northwestern less than three minutes in the second half to do just that, and the Wildcats led for the final 17 minutes of a 69-60 triumph over the Scarlet Knights on Thursday night before 3,723 fans at the Rutgers Athletic Center.
