Rutgers head coach Kyle Flood told reporters Hayden Rettig was "a little bit" behind Chris Laviano in the Scarlet Knights quarterback duel when spring came to an end.
So what does Rettig, a transfer from LSU who sat out last season, plan to do about that?
"I just have to keep working; that's how I see it," Rettig told NJ.com. "If I just keep doing what I'm doing, keep putting in the hours, you can't stop something from happening.
