Being a sports fan is a tricky business. Most of the time you end up aggravated because your team didn’t meet the goals you expect. At least that’s how it is for most fans. There are over 125 FBS college teams and another 125 FCS teams. Yet, the majority of both have never won a national championship. Does that make them irrelevant? Of course not, at least not in the eyes of their fans.
Last Saturday a game between two of those teams took place in Bloomington, Indiana between the Indiana Hoosiers and the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. The number of championships between both schools can be counted on using the fingers of both hands.
