Rutgers has plenty of true freshmen taking advantage of the NCAA's new redshirt rule, which allows players to appear in up to four games and still maintain a year of eligibility.
Reggie Sutton is going about it in the most unique way, though.
The offensive lineman has played as a blocking tight end in the last three games, trading in his No. 70 jersey for an reception-eligible No. 83. He hasn't had a pass thrown his way (yet), but he has provided the Scarlet Knights with some much-needed presence in the run game with senior tight end Jerome Washington out, and he is expected to play in his fourth and final game Saturday when Rutgers closes out its season at Michigan State.
