PISCATAWAY, N.J. (AP) A star Rutgers receiver has been charged with assault in yet another arrest and suspension of a football player at the school.

The team announced that Leonte Carroo was suspended even before officials said Monday he had been arrested. The senior was charged with assault under domestic violence in connection with an unspecified matter Saturday after the team's game.

Rutgers Police Chief Kenneth Cop said the arrest stems from something that happened outside Hale Center, the team's training and administrative building.
