The start of the 2019 Rutgers men’s lacrosse season is less than two months away and on Wednesday Inside Lacrosse released its preseason Top 25 poll here. The Scarlet Knights, who finished last season with a 9-6 record, are ranked 12th in the preseason poll.
The season opens at home on Saturday, February 2nd against Lafayette and Rutgers is scheduled to play ten other teams ranked in Inside Lacrosse’s preseason poll out of fourteen regular season games total. Other Big Ten ranked teams include #3 Maryland, #9 Johns Hopkins, #10 Penn State, #17 Ohio State, and #19 Michigan.
