Thursday, Rutgers junior quarterback commit Zamar Wise stepped foot on the Rutgers campus to watch practice, accompanied by former head coach Ronly London and his brother Corey Walker, who also holds a Rutgers offer as a freshman linebacker.
It was an impromptu visit in which Wise was met with jubilation from new offensive coordinator John McNulty, running backs coach Nunzio Campanile and head coach Chris Ash as he walked onto the practice field.
Standing 6-2 and 185 pounds out of Barringer (Newark, N.J.), Wise is a three-star recruit, holding offers from Rutgers, Maryland, Miami, Missouri, Syracuse, UCF and Temple.
