CHICAGO -- Rutgers fans of the 2000s have seen big-name true freshman quarterbacks sit their entire first season (Mike Teel), get a taste of action in a two-passer rotation (Gary Nova) and make as many as 11 starts (Tom Savage).
So is Johnathan Lewis the next Teel, Nova or Savage?
In other words, will the three-star recruit out of St. Peter's Prep High School take a redshirt year, split snaps or serve as the primary quarterback for Rutgers in 2017?
Only time will tell -- because Rutgers coach Chris Ash can't yet.
