Rutgers was operating on a regular season schedule Tuesday, but its training camp quarterback battle remains underway – at least officially.
The Scarlet Knights returned from two days off and practiced in the late afternoon, getting on their in-season schedule after morning workouts during camp. But players indicated the coaching staff has not yet completely turned the page to “game week” ahead of the Sept. 1 opener against Texas State. Rutgers has watched some film of the Bobcats, but it’s still focused on itself.
And still, apparently, figuring out who will be the quarterback against Texas State.
