PISCATAWAY -- Chris Laviano never lost the job of Rutgers starting quarterback last season, but even he admits that he might have stopped fulfilling its requirements.
Laviano showed up for the first practice of training camp looking different -- he added 15 pounds of muscle -- and sounding different.
To be more precise, the 6-foot-2, 221-pound redshirt junior sounded like someone willing to take ownership of his past mistakes.
"It's just coming every day to work -- coming every day to the meetings -- with a positive attitude," Laviano said. "Not getting in trouble off the field.
