There is some bit of good news for Rutgers football fans, despite it being the bye week. True freshman Adam Korsak has been added the Ray Guy Award Watch List, given out to the best collegiate punter each season.
The addition was announced on Thursday afternoon in the tweet above and as of the publishing of this article, Korsak hadn’t yet been added to the website’s official list of nominee’s.
Particular emphasis is placed on the following statistics; net average, percentage of total punts inside the 20-yard line, percentage of punts not returned, number of punts and gross average.
