PISCATAWAY -- Rutgers wide receivers won't be cutting routes short and offensive linemen will be adding a second or so to their internal clocks for holding blocks.
That's the effect that new starting quarterback Gio Rescigno's ability to keep busted plays alive with his feet has across the offense.
"I thought he went out and led the offense, executed the calls, made good decisions, threw the ball well at times," coach Chris Ash said after Tuesday's practice before Saturday's game at Minnesota.
"He's got to continue to work on being consistent, but I liked his personality and energy and leadership that he brings to the offense.
