Rashan Gary and Antonio Alfano received their first offers from Rutgers while in the eigth grade, but not quite this early. Thursday, Rutgers extended an offer to North Jersey eighth grader Keith Miles Jr., a 6-4, 229-pounder who will be a freshman at St. Peter's Prep (Jersey City, N.J.) next season, following a standout performance at a North Jersey workout earlier this week. But Rutgers isn't the first program to offer Miles, who picked up his first offer from UNC, Wednesday.
