Saturday, Rutgers extended an offer to Lancine Turay, younger brother of explosive Rutgers defensive end Kemoko Turay. The Scarlet Knights are the fourth program to offer the Irvington (N.J.) standout, despite being involved with Turay for the past two years.
Turay compete in front of the old Rutgers staff prior to the 2015 season, but was raw at the time as he had jut begun to play the game. But he's steadily developed over the past two years under the tutelage of head coach Ashley "Smoke" Pierre and staff.
"It's good to have the hometown university recruiting our prospects in Irvington," Pierre said Saturday.
