Sunday, Medina (N.Y.) wide receiver Jalin Cooper visited Rutgers, accompanied by his father, little brother and coach, and spent two and a half hours on the banks.
A 6-4, 185-pound rising senior, Cooper received an offer from Rutgers on May 7, and the Scarlet Knights has since joined the leader board for his services, but even more so after Sunday's trek.
"They're up there with the top schools," Cooper told NJ.com. "Coach (Jerry) Kill and (Vince) Okruch really surprised me. They seem to know a lot about the game and the other things to improve my game.
