Rutgers men's lacrosse team snubbed from NCAA Tournament

The Rutgers men's lacrosse team beat Johns Hopkins during the regular season and then duplicated that feat by knocking out the Blue Jays from the Big Ten Tournament in a semifinals triumph last week.

Johns Hopkins, owner of an 8-6 record, got into the NCAA Tournament with an at-large bid.

Rutgers did not.

After falling in the Big Ten Tournament final Saturday night, the Scarlet Knights' resume looked like this: an 11-5 record, a second-place finish in the Big Ten regular season and a runner-up showing in the conference tournament.
