After sophomore attackman Kieran Mullins tied a career high of 8 goals in leading Rutgers to a dominating 16-8 victory over then ranked Michigan this past Sunday, it seemed obvious he would earn the honor of Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week. It was made official when he was named as such on Tuesday afternoon.
Mullins produced as many goals, as well as one assist, as the entire Wolverines team did on Sunday, and equaled his 8 goal performance that he also produced against Michigan last season. After such a strong outing on Sunday, Mullins is now second on the team with 25 goals, 14 assists, and 39 total points.
