Wednesday, Rutgers pulled the trigger on an offer for CJ Hanson, a player its been flirting with over the past couple months. Standing 6-5, 285 pounds, Hanson has slowly but steadily added offers, but Rutgers is his first of the Power 5 variety.
"It feels amazing to finally get the offer from Rutgers," Hanson told NJ.com. "It is also great seeing your hard work pay off. When I was on the phone with Coach Ash (Wednesday) night and he said that Rutgers wanted to offer me a scholarship, I was so happy. I am just truly thankful and truly blessed to have the opportunities I have in front of me.
