C. Vivian Stringer is back in the national recruiting game.
Rutgers women's basketball landed a commitment from five-star point guard Zipporah Broughton, who is ranked as the No. 24 overall player in the class of 2018 by ESPN's HoopGurlz. She inked her national letter of intent Wednesday during the early signing period.
It's a huge win on the recruiting trail for Stringer, who is fresh off signing a four-year contract extension. The 69-year-old Hall of Famer had to rely on transfers more than ever to rebuild her roster over the last few years.
