I said my piece about Artur Sitkowski here. I think the right move is for Rutgers to stick with him and let him take his lumps. This season is about development now, not a bowl game. That being said, if Ash opts to sit the true freshman and go with redshirt senior Gio Rescigno, it would be understandable given Sitkowski’s struggles so far.
Saturday’s outing was clearly Sitkowski’s worst of the season. He had strong protection and still made some very poor throws. The fact each of them came with receivers open elsewhere is further proof he’s locking on to targets and tipping the defense.
