Rutgers’ Hannah Joyner to compete at NCAA Championships on beam

Rutgers sophomore Hannah Joyner is set to compete on the beam at the 2021 NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championships this weekend. Joyner qualified after finishing second in the event at the Morgantown Regional after posting a score 9.925. She was the highest individual qualifier in the beam that was not part of an advancing team.

Joyner made history in the process, as she become the first Rutgers gymnast to post a score above 9.9 at an NCAA Regional and is just the third Scarlet Knight to qualify for nationals in program history. She continues to build a stellar career on the banks.
