New York-native WR Shameen Jones officially joined Rutgers on Wednesday, signing his National Letter of Intent to join the Scarlet Knights.
With last year’s struggles on offense, Head Coach Chris Ash and staff have made the wide-receiver position one of their top priorities. The Scarlet Knights lack speed and playmakers who are able to stretch the field, however the addition of Shameen Jones is a big step in the right direction to fill this void.
Jone’s best qualities are his speed, moves, and vision. He has excellent open field speed and has the ability to make defenders miss.
