Calvert Hall College High School linebacker Tyshon Fogg made his commitment to Rutgers University official today, signing his National Letter of Intent.
Fogg announced his commitment on June 26th, choosing Rutgers over his other offers from schools such as Clemson, Michigan State, and Louisville.
Fogg, a consensus 4-star recruit, is the highest rated defensive prospect of the 2017 class. While Fogg played a good amount of middle linebacker in high school, the combination of Fogg’s plus size, physicality, and play-making ability out in space projects him best as an outside linebacker in Rutgers’ base 4-3 defense.
