Wayne Hills High School athlete Brendan Devera made his commitment to Rutgers University official today, signing his National Letter of Intent.
Devera was a surprise commitment just over a week ago on January 23rd, flipping to Rutgers after previously committing to the University of Delaware.
A consensus 2-star recruit, Devera played quarterback and linebacker while leading Wayne Hills to a state championship this past season. However, it is his physicality that presents Devera as an option in the offensive backfield for the Scarlet Knights. New offensive coordinator Jerry Kill projects Devera as a fullback/H-Back type in his spread offense.
