PISCATAWAY – Rutgers already had the Fat Cat. Now it has the Big Cat, too.
Nicknamed “Big Cat” by his Rutgers football teammates, Sam Bergen is getting an opportunity six years in the making during training camp.
Bergen, who has never had a carry or a catch in his career, is in position to capitalize on a rare NCAA-granted sixth year of eligibility by becoming the team’s starting fullback.
Already, @RutgersU is famous for the Fat Cat sandwich. Now, @RFootball has the Big Cat. http://t.co/cSZpZhjN9v #CHOPNation #B1GFootball
