Rutgers football coaches: Who stays? Who goes? Who’s coming?

PISCATAWAY – Seven Rutgers football assistant coaches — including both offensive coordinator Ben McDaniels and defensive coordinator Joe Rossi — have been let go, according to sources.

And new head coach Chris Ash acted fast to fill one of the vacancies, hiring Vince Okruch as special teams coordinator.

Former special teams coordinator Phil Galiano, offensive line coach Mitch Browning, linebackers coach Bob Fraser, secondary coach Darrell Wilson and running backs coach/associate head coach Norries Wilson also will not be back with Rutgers.
