Rutgers is in the center of controversy again.
The latest national spotlight to hit Piscataway involves football coach Kyle Flood and an email he allegedly sent to a professor inquiring about potentially ineligible cornerback Nadir Barnwell’s grades.
If that wasn’t enough negative attention, Rutgers also suspended five players, including star receiver Leonte Carroo and quarterback Chris Laviano, for the first half of the season-opener.
Laviano was caught using a fake ID, Flood said.
