PISCATAWAY — After every blowout loss Rutgers has suffered this season, coach Kyle Flood has sounded a similar refrain: The team will watch the film, make corrections and get better the following week. But after three straight lopsided losses by a combined score of 146-33, Flood has been pressed on specifics for any progress he has observed.
"When I say there's progress, I think sometimes when you just use that sound bite, it sounds like I'm pleased with the game — nobody is pleased with that result," Flood said Sunday of the 49-16 loss to Michigan on Saturday.
