BEDMINSTER — Chris Ash isn't much of a golfer and the new Rutgers coach's schedule doesn't figure to allow much of an opportunity to take up the sport anytime soon. But Ash recognized the importance of the charity golf tournament hosted by the Rutgers football coach each summer, so he was at Fiddler's Elbow Country Club on Monday hosting 336 golfers in an event that raised $100,000 for charity.
"To be honest with you, when I first got here I was approached about the event and I was a little resistant at first," Ash said.
