Thursday, West Orange (N.J.) junior defensive lineman Bryce Nelms released his top eight list of schools, with Rutgers seemingly towards the front of his list. Ironically, Nelms also visited Rutgers Thursday, and continues to show an affinity for the in-state school.
"The opportunity to stay home and play in N.J., where most of my family lives is a factor," Nelms told NJ Advance Media. "My relationship with the coaching staff and the ability to learn from Coach Brown is another factor. Of course, earning a degree from Rutgers and then having a great alumni network are crucial to my decision, as well.
