Blessuan Austin may have played his last game at Rutgers.
The senior cornerback may need surgery after suffering a knee injury in the season opener against Texas State, head coach Chris Ash said Wednesday.
"Bless has been week-to-week since his injury against Texas State. He's going to see another doctor on Friday, and they may have to do surgery on him," Ash said during his weekly radio show. "We'll know Friday. He feels great, and that's the tough situation that he's in."
Austin, who missed most of last season with a torn ACL, tweaked his knee while making a leaping interception in the Scarlet Knights' 35-7 win over Texas State on Sept.
