It was announced yesterday that the Men's Basketball team earned its highest Academic Progress Rate (APR) since the NCAA began the rating system in 2004-2005. A score of 984 is based on the academic years of 2010-2014 and placed Rutgers in the top 20 percent of all men's basketball programs in the country. They ranked tied for sixth among the fourteen Big Ten schools. From Keith Sargeant's article: "Graduating our players is an absolute priority," said head coach Eddie Jordan. "We are proud to have a team culture that emphasizes academic performance. This is a credit to the dedicated work of our students, academic advisor Randi Larson and the entire support staff.
