With 15 games left of regular season baseball and 4.5 games back in the Big Ten Conference, Rutgers (20 – 20, 5 – 7 conference) is running out of opportunities to make a postseason run. Currently in 11th place out of 13 teams in the Big Ten, Rutgers is sitting on the outside looking in for the eight team conference tournament which begins on May 25th.
Joe Litterio’s group has done a good job at Bainton Field posting a 11-2 record this season, but the Scarlet Knights have struggled on the road putting up only 8 wins and 18 losses.
