Rutgers baseball coach Joe Litterio overhauled his coaching staff this offseason in an effort to change his program’s culture.
He believes the Scarlet Knights have made strides in the six months since the moves, but Rutgers also hasn’t had to play a game yet. That changes Friday when RU opens the 2018 season on the road against nationally-ranked Miami at Alex Rodriguez Field in Coral Gables, Florida.
“I think we’re starting to accomplish as a staff what we want to do with these guys, and that’s to create a better culture around here in the program,” Litterio said.
