Rutgers appoints Yvette Rooks as chief medical officer for athletics

Rutgers, in partnership with RWJBarnabas Health, on Thursday announced the appointment of Dr. Yvette Rooks, a nationally renowned physician, as its Chief Medical Officer for athletics.

In her role, Rooks is charged with providing clinical care in both sports medicine and primary care for Rutgers' 600-plus student-athletes.
