Anthony Ashnault will get one last shot at a national championship.
The Rutgers wrestling star has been granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA, a person with knowledge of the decision told NJ Advance Media, paving the way for the three-time All-American and two-time national semifinalist to join returning national finalist Nick Suriano in a loaded lineup the Scarlet Knights believe could lead to the best season in program history.
"I want another chance to win a national title. That's the biggest thing for me," Ashnault said in February after announcing he would not wrestle this past season.
