Rutgers punter Adam Korsak was named the Ray Guy Punter of the Week for the third time this season on Tuesday. This time it was for his performance last Saturday against Indiana in which he averaged 47.3 yards on 10 punts, four of which were downed inside the opponent’s 20 yard line. Three of his punts were farther than 50 yards. Only two punts were returned for a total of 8 yards.
Despite Korsak’s third Ray Guy Award, he once again was snubbed by the Big Ten and has yet to earn Special Teams Player of the Week honors.
