Though most of N.J.'s top rising seniors have already made their pledges, there are a handful of in-state targets who have yet to, and who Rutgers is still in contention for.
Bergen Catholic (Oradell, N.J.) three-star linebacker Javontae Jean-Baptiste is one of them, as Rutgers is one of three teams standing out at this point.
He says Rutgers, UFC, Temple, right now are the schools standing out most while Rutgers, UCF and Toledo are the three teams recruiting him hardest.
Jean-Baptiste has camped this summer at Florid State, Maryland, Penn State, Temple and a Monmouth camp that also featured Virginia Tech, and has no other visits or camps planned.
