Kay’Ron Adams has entered the transfer portal. The running back went to Twitter to announce his decision on Tuesday morning.
Adams signed with Rutgers back in Dec. of 2018. The Warren, Ohio native decided to leave for the Scarlet Knights and New Jersey over school like Kent State, Akron, and Bowling Green. He originally committed to former Rutgers’ head coach Chris Ash after going through a workout at Ohio State.
During his time at Rutgers, Adams has been an inconsistent performer in a backup role. In two years in Piscataway, Adams rushed 83 times for 320 yards and two touchdowns.
