Quarterback Allan Walters is regarded as one of New Jersey's most promising recruits in the 2018 class. Despite RU's struggles on the field, he tells StateOfRutgers.com that the Scarlet Knights are still very much in the mix for his services.
"I like the new staff a lot. I really like what coach [Chris] Ash is doing there. I really like his mentality, especially through a tough year like this one," Walters said in an exclusive interview. "I view it as a rebuilding year for the program. I know that he's going to turn the school around and his style of coaching is exactly what they need.
